Teslas come with Standard Connectivity, which covers the basics. Premium Connectivity is a paid monthly subscription that adds more features over the car's mobile connection.

What Premium Connectivity typically adds

• Live traffic visualisation on the map.
• Satellite-view maps.
• Video streaming (Theatre) and music streaming over mobile data.
• Internet browser.
• Live camera view from the app (for Sentry Mode).

Is it worth it?

• Yes, if you stream music in the car, use satellite maps, or want to check your car's cameras remotely.
• Maybe not, if you mostly use your phone for music through Bluetooth and park at home on Wi-Fi.

Wi-Fi works anyway

Without Premium Connectivity, the car can still use Wi-Fi (home or phone hotspot) for streaming and updates.
