About TeslaChargers.co.uk

TeslaChargers.co.uk is an independent guide for people who drive a Tesla in the UK. We bring every charger a Tesla can use into one place, with route plans, road-by-road gaps and plain-English guides. We are not part of Tesla or any charging network, and we do not take payment to list or rank chargers.

Who

The site is run by the team behind TeslaService.co.uk, an independent directory of Tesla servicing and repair specialists. Charger pages here link there when the problem is the car rather than the charger.

Where the data comes from

How the pages are made

We clean the raw data before anything is published: listings for the same network within 30 metres are combined, postcodes are checked against the full UK list, towns that were really street names are replaced with the nearest real place, and phone numbers are tidied. Each charger, town, postcode, road and route page is then built automatically from that data, with distances worked out from map coordinates.

The guides were drafted with the help of AI writing tools and then checked against the sources listed on each one. We use automation because no person could keep 25,926 sites up to date by hand; people decide what goes in and check the facts.

Many on-street lamp-post chargers are nearly identical, so we keep those pages for drivers but ask search engines not to index them.

Why it exists

Tesla drivers want two answers from a charger listing: will my car charge here, and what do I do if it doesn't? Every page answers both, with directions in Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze and what3words, the three closest alternatives, and the nearest Tesla Service Centre.

Keeping it right

Charger status changes daily, so use a live app before you travel. Spotted something wrong? Use the "Report a change" link on any charger page to correct it at source, or tell other drivers with the "It worked / It didn't work" buttons. Data last refreshed 4 October 2026.
